About Us

The Carter High Band Program is an award-winning band program that consistently receives top ratings at marching contests and concert festivals. The program also produces students who regularly place in the Tennessee All-East and All-State bands. The Band has performed numerous times in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, The Nokia Sugar Bowl, The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade and was the winner of the Daytona 500 Music Festival.  The band made its first international appearance in the 2010 Lord Mayor’s New Year’s Day Parade in London, England, and accepted an invitation to perform in the Waikiki Holiday Parade and the Pearl Harbor Memorials where it traveled in November 2013.
